The idea behind my jewelry making is simple geometry with subtle complexity. I experiment with forming a flat piece of metal to create pieces of three dimensional quality, to achieve the effect of lightness and substance, of light and shadow, of concealing and revealing, in the hope of elevating the senses.
The crisp, angular, straight line is balanced with soft, sensual curve. The finished pieces look architectural and sculptural yet wearable and comfortable. They are striking yet understated, modern yet timeless, and bold in a quiet sense.
